Executive Board
The Executive Board meets quarterly and also conducts business
electronically. The length of term and duties of each of the officers
are given below.
Chair:
- serves one year, then assumes the position of Past Chair
- presides over all meetings, conducts business, sets the agenda
Vice Chair- Chair-Elect:
- serves one year as vice Chair, then assumes the position of Chair
- finalizes program arrangements
- assists the Chair and presides over meetings in her/his absence
Treasurer:
- serves a two-year term
- keeps custody of funds, collects dues, maintains records of funds collected and disbursed
- maintains current membership list
Corresponding Secretary:
- serves a one-year term
- conducts general correspondence
- composes and distributes announcements
- maintains the membership mailing list
Recording Secretary:
- serves a one-year term
- keeps and distributes minutes of the meeting
- keeps copies of all documents, maintains records of by-law
Past Chair:
- serves a one-year term after serving as Chair
- provides continuity by serving the executive board in an advisory capacity

Nomination and Election
of Officers
Nominations shall be made from the floor at
the Summer meeting. Elections shall take place at the Fall meeting for the
offices of:
Vice Chair, Chair Elect
Corresponding Secretary
Recording Secretary
treasurer (bi-annually)
Officers elected at the Fall meeting shall assume their responsibilities immediately following that meeting. So stated,
the term of office runs from Fall of the current year to the Fall of the following year.
